What is the Organic Toddler Pillow?

The Organic Toddler Pillow with Case features a low profile (3cm) designed to support the correct alignment of the neck during sleep from 2 years of age*. Once your child is developmentally ready for a pillow (no younger than 2 years), we suggest this begins in the cot (configured as a toddler bed/with one side off) or with the cot mattress on the floor.

• Gentle cold machine wash inside garment bag, in mild detergent.
• Do not soak or bleach. Wash in full load with light items only. Spin excess water out if required. Tumble dry low or line dry in direct sunlight. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. Ensure item is completely dry before storing.

What age can I introduce a pillow? The Organic Toddler Pillow is suitable and safe to introduce from 2 years old, as your child's first pillow. We recommend introducing it as a way to get your child familiar with staying in one place in the cot, before a big bed transition. Please introduce the pillow once the cot side is removed (i.e. converted to a toddler bed).

How high is the pillow? The pillow has a low-profile loft of 3cm, designed to ergonomically support the head-to-shoulder ratio of toddlers aged 2-4 years for correct neck alignment during sleep.

Is the pillow breathable? Yes, the Organic Toddler Pillow is both made from, and filled with, certified GOTS Organic Cotton. We know toddlers and preschoolers can be sweaty sleepers; this pillow is designed to reduce nightime over heating and be suitable for those who suffer from eczema.

Can I wash the pillow? Yes, it is machine washable. We suggest washing on a delicate cycle with a full load, inside a wash bag. We suggest drying in a tumble dryer on low, to help disperse the quilted filling after washing. You can also purchase the matching waterproof pillow protector (sold separately) to help prolong the life of your pillow, and reduce the need to wash it as often.

When do I graduate to a standard kid-sized pillow? Most children will graduate around 4 years old, to a higher loft pillow. If your child does not want to give up their Organic Toddler Pillow, you can soon purchase the matching quilted pillow case to provide extra loft to those who need it (coming February 2025).

Do you sell pillow protectors? Yes, we have a waterproof pillow protector available to purchase separately for the Organic Toddler Pillow.

Can I buy extra pillowcases? Yes, we have spare pillowcases available for the Organic Toddler Pillow. The pillow comes with one pillowcase included, but additional prints and colours can be found on our website. Please note that our Organic Toddler Pillow is a custom size, and therefore a standard pillowcase will not fit on it.

Does the pillow fit a standard pillowcase? No. Our Organic Toddler Pillow is a custom size, and therefore a standard pillowcase will not fit on it. We have separate waterproof pillow protectors, and separate pillowcases available on our website.
